Butiga CRM is a multi-user system for companies whose active work no longer fits in one spreadsheet and a few private inboxes. It connects each customer with contacts, business email, an owner, pipeline, tasks, meetings, quotes, promises and next steps. The aim is not another screen, but a team that knows what was agreed, who is responsible and what needs to happen next.
Why Butiga exists
A sales process rarely becomes disorganised all at once. The first customers fit in a spreadsheet. Email stays in the inbox of whoever replied. The quote is saved as a PDF. An agreed deadline goes in a calendar, while a promise to the customer stays in a message or someone's memory.
The problem starts when several people need to continue the same work. A manager sees the status but not why the quote is stalled. A colleague sees the email but not which price version was approved. Operations receives the job without the context of what sales promised. The team loses more than time: it may miss a follow-up, send the wrong quote version or start delivery without a clear scope.
Butiga was built around that break in continuity. Customer, communication, quote, responsibilities and next step stay connected in one record that authorised team members can continue without reconstructing the whole history.
What is Butiga CRM?
Butiga is the market name of the product developed as Temelj Sales Hub. The public ProcessWire website describes the product, pricing, security, legal terms, guides and demo. The CRM application is a separate system with a web interface, API services, a PostgreSQL database and an Android app.
- CRM record
Company, contact, source, owner, status, value, tags and relationship history. - Business email
Supported Gmail OAuth and IMAP/SMTP accounts with folders, messages, attachments, signatures and templates. - Sales pipeline
Opportunities, stages, tasks, meetings, reminders, sequences and follow-up around the same customer. - Quotes and pricing
Controlled line items, quantities, discounts, approvals, quote versions, PDF and a locked accepted version. - Work handover
Agreed scope, promises, responsible people and tasks move from sales into onboarding and delivery. - Web and Android
The same authorised customer, communication and task context is available through web and mobile workflows.
The boundary between website and application
This website does not store CRM customers, email messages, quotes or internal tasks belonging to customer companies. ProcessWire manages public content, demo enquiries and marketing pages. The authenticated Butiga application manages business data and workflows. Sign-in leads to the separate application.
From enquiry to clear handover
- An enquiry becomes a structured lead. Company, contact, need, source, owner and next step go into one record.
- Communication stays with the customer. Business email, notes, calls, meetings and tasks preserve relationship context.
- The opportunity moves through the pipeline. The team sees its stage, estimated value, responsible person and next activity.
- The quote stays under control. Line items, quantities, discounts, approvals and versions stay linked to the opportunity.
- An accepted agreement does not need retelling. The locked quote version, scope and promises enter the onboarding record.
- The next team receives responsibility. Owners, tasks and deadlines show who continues the work and what has already been confirmed to the customer.
Note: this workflow describes actual Butiga capabilities. It is not a case study or a claim about a specific customer's results.
The principles behind Butiga
- Context before volume of data
One useful record with an owner and next step is worth more than a sprawling spreadsheet nobody maintains. - Responsibility must be visible
Important work needs a person, deadline and status, not just a note the team can overlook. - Commercial decisions remain human
The system helps control prices, discounts and approvals. It does not make the final business or legal decision for the responsible person. - The backend checks access rights
Membership, roles, workspaces and access to a particular record are more than visual interface restrictions. - Evidence before marketing claims
We do not publish invented ratings, user counts, results, certificates or integrations that are not actually available. - Handover is part of sales
Work is not finished when a quote is accepted. The agreement must reach the person responsible for delivery.
Who Butiga is for
Butiga is primarily for small and growing B2B companies selling services or products, where several people are involved between first contact and delivery.
- Sales teams that need lead ownership, a pipeline and verifiable follow-up.
- Service businesses that need to preserve the agreed scope and promises alongside a quote for later delivery.
- Agencies and consultants who manage longer sales conversations, multiple quote versions and project handover.
- Field teams who need email, customers and daily tasks on an Android device.
- Owners and managers who want visibility of active work without manually combining inboxes, spreadsheets and documents.
When a simpler tool may be enough
If one person manages a few contacts, responsibilities are not shared, there are no multiple quote versions and no follow-up depends on a team deadline, a spreadsheet and existing email may be enough. Butiga makes sense when the customer relationship becomes a process several people must reliably continue.
What Butiga does not replace
- It does not sell autonomously
It does not negotiate, promise deadlines or close commercial agreements without a responsible person. - It does not provide legal approval
Contracts, special terms, privacy and customer obligations remain subject to human and, where needed, professional review. - It is not an accounting system
Quotes and the commercial process do not replace bookkeeping, fiscalisation or statutory financial records. - It cannot fix an unclear process by itself
If a company has not agreed on stages, owners, rights and approvals, software can only make the existing ambiguity more visible. - It does not guarantee sales results
Butiga organises the process. Demand, the offer, pricing, the market and work quality still determine business results. - It does not automatically include every integration
Email accounts, migration, APIs, webhooks and private integrations are confirmed according to the plan and technical scope.
How Butiga is introduced into your company
Implementation does not start by turning on every feature at random. First, we establish how the company receives enquiries, who owns opportunities, how quotes are created and who receives the handover.
| Your team prepares | Temelj za rast configures |
|---|---|
| Users, roles and responsible people. | The workspace, memberships and initial access rights. |
| Pipeline stages and the meaning of each status. | The pipeline, required fields and basic sales workflow. |
| Approved business email accounts and access. | Supported Gmail OAuth or IMAP/SMTP connections. |
| Price lists, discount rules and approvers. | Line items, versions, PDF quotes and the appropriate approval workflow. |
| Active data for a reasonable and lawful transfer. | The agreed import, mapping and duplicate checks. |
| Promises, scope and post-sale responsibility. | The onboarding record, tasks and handover to the next team. |
Scope, cost and duration depend on users, email accounts, data quality and process complexity. We therefore do not promise a universal implementation deadline before reviewing the actual situation.
Who owns the business decision?
Butiga preserves context and enforces configured rules. The customer company remains responsible for the accuracy of entered data, the lawful basis for processing contacts, commercial decisions, prices, discounts, promises, approvals and delivery of agreed work.
Temelj za rast develops and maintains the product, configures the agreed scope, provides support and applies verified security controls. The specific controller/processor roles, retention, support, SLA and special obligations are governed by the applicable quote, contract and, where relevant, data processing agreement.
